Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Carzo Socialytics ("the App", "we", "us") handles data. Carzo Socialytics is an internal dashboard operated by Carzo ("we", "us") and used only by Carzo's own staff to monitor the dealership's own social media performance. It is not a public or consumer product, has no third-party end users, and offers no public sign-up.
Who uses the App
Access is limited to Carzo's marketing team. The App connects only to social media accounts that Carzo owns and that a Carzo administrator explicitly authorizes.
Data we access
Carzo Socialytics aggregates analytics from Carzo's own YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook accounts. For each connected platform, it reads only the account's own profile information and the metrics of content the account has published.
TikTok data
Carzo Socialytics connects via TikTok Login Kit (OAuth Authorization-Code flow) to a single TikTok account owned by Carzo and authorized by a company administrator. Using the TikTok Display API, it accesses the following, under these scopes:
- user.info.basic, user.info.profile, user.info.stats — the account's own profile and stats (name, avatar, followers, following, total likes, video count).
- video.list — the account's own published videos and their metrics (views, likes, comments, shares, duration).
The App reads data only from the single self-owned account an administrator authorizes. It does not access other users, does not post or publish content, and does not share, sell, or publicly expose any TikTok data. All metrics stay private inside Carzo's internal dashboard.
How we use the data
We use the data solely to display Carzo's own social media performance — per-video metrics, account totals, and daily-snapshot trends — privately to Carzo's marketing team. We may generate internal summaries and insights from these metrics for the team's own use. We do not use the data for advertising and do not sell or rent it.
How we store and retain data
Metrics and daily snapshots are stored in Carzo's private Google Cloud infrastructure and are accessible only to authorized Carzo staff. Access tokens for the connected accounts are stored securely and are used only to retrieve the metrics described above. We retain data only as long as needed for internal analytics and remove it on request.
Sharing
We do not share, sell, or disclose the data to third parties, except service providers (such as Google Cloud) that host the App on Carzo's behalf, and except where required by law. The data is never made public.
Your platform controls
A Carzo administrator can revoke the App's access at any time through the relevant platform's settings (for TikTok, via the account's connected-apps settings). Revoking access stops the App from retrieving further data from that account.
TikTok compliance
Our use of TikTok data complies with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and TikTok's Developer Policies. We use TikTok data only as described in this policy.
